Data Policy
I have read and accept the data policy
The Data Protection Act 1998 governs UNIAID's processing of personal data
- The information you give us is only used for the purpose for which it was requested
- The data is kept in a secure database
- UNIAID will not share this information with others unless we ask you and you expressly give permission under special circumstance, such as when UNIAID believes in good faith that the law requires it.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
All goods, aside from training events, will be delivered within 30 calendar days of receipt of payment. If your goods are not received within this period, or you have a specific occasion for which you need the goods and wish to have them couriered, please contact UNIAID on 020 7922 7790.
Refunds and Returns Policy
Basic returns policy: If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase from UNIAID - except in the case of pure services such as training and Subscription to The Site - you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged or defective, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us.
UNIAID will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item/s and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period. By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered, in the case of physical products. For more information see Your Statutory Rights.
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item but not the cost of sending the item to you. If we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the reasonable costs of collection from you.
Items returned under the 30-day or 14-day returns guarantee
Where you are withdrawing from your purchase between seven and 30 days after delivery and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the cost of the physical product item.
The case of services (training and subscription to UNIAID Interactive online) is exempt for this returns policy. Training services are covered by the cancellation policy.
If you are paying by invoice goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared. Training events must be paid for within 14 days of the issue date stated on the invoice.
Event Terms Conditions and Cancellation Policy
When you place an order to reserve a place on a launch event, we will, if a place is available, send you a confirmation email containing further information about the event and details about the venue. The automated response email which you receive at the time of booking does not guarantee the availability of a place.
If there are no places available on the event, we will send you an email to inform you.
Please note that there is no contract between us until we send the confirmation pack to you. We would advise you not to make travel arrangements until you receive the confirmation notice by e-mail from UNIAID confirming your place on the course.
If you have not received this information two weeks before the event, please contact the UNIAID Interactive Team: info@uniaid.org.uk
Cancellations:
A written cancellation must be received ten working days prior to the start of the training event. If you are unable to attend you may nominate a substitute delegate.
UNIAID reserves the right to cancel or defer any course if it is prevented from running the course as anticipated due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, for example, acts of terrorism, flood, strikes, protests or emergencies.
If insufficient bookings are received for the event to be viable, UNIAID reserves the right to cancel any event.
In the event that UNIAID has to cancel or defer a course then it will endeavor to inform you as soon as possible and either refund payments or offer a place on an alternative date or course.
